Charles Church

Charles Church is an elite British homebuilding company. The main office is located in York, England. The company is named after its co-founder, Charles J.J. Church. In 2001 it became a subsidiary of Persimmon plc. The interesting fact is that one of the houses of the home builder, and then its reconstruction, was used in the adaptation of the famous series of books about Harry Potter.

Charles Church founded the construction company in 1965. The firm was initially called Burke and Church. The company was founded as a luxury residential developer in the South East of England. The first home was built in 1967 in Camberley, Surrey. The proceeds were used for further business growth. For example, Charles Church built four more house developments for this money.
